Our Story
Our Story
Wildflower Bake Shop officially began in 2024, but the dream of having a bakery of some sort began long before then.
My love for baking started when I was five years old, when I made my very first recipe from my Pink Princess Cookbook by Barbara Beery. Over the years, the kitchen became a place where I learned, created, and made some of my favorite memories. From making apricot and Brie tartlets with my mom to friendly cake decorating competitions with my sisters, baking has always been about more than simply making something delicious—it has been a way to bring people together.
By the time I was fifteen, I knew I wanted to own a bakery someday. Years later, after becoming a single mom, I found myself praying about how I could pursue the work I loved while also being present for the person I love most. Through a lot of prayer, faith, and trust in the Lord, Wildflower Bake Shop began to take shape.
The Meaning Behind Wildflower
The name Wildflower was inspired by Matthew 6:25–34, where Jesus reminds us to consider the wildflowers of the field and the way God faithfully provides for them.
Wildflowers don't worry about where they will grow or how they will flourish. Whether they bloom in a beautiful field or along the side of a highway, they are cared for by the One who created them.
That reminder is at the heart of Wildflower Bake Shop: God provides, and He is faithful.
My hope is that Wildflower Bake Shop would be a reflection of that faithfulness—a place where I can glorify God through the gifts He has given me, thoughtfully use the wonderful ingredients He has created, and create beautiful, delicious treats that bring people together and add a little sweetness to life's special moments.
Thank you for supporting my small business and being part of the Wildflower story.
Our Goals
-
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:17
There would absolutely be no way this would be possible without God and his amazing grace. All glory to Him!

It is so important to know the ingredients we are putting into our body and where they come from! We choose to use mainly organic ingredients (with a few exceptions).
